The Howe Sound Sea Safari Cruise takes you on a 2-hour adventure to the spectacular scenery and wildlife which make coastal British Columbia world famous. Grab a seat on a custom-designed, high-speed, 28 ft. rigid hull inflatable. With an experienced guide at the helm, you won't miss a thing as you speed across Horseshoe Bay to The Strait of Georgia.
You'll find yourself racing beside steep cliffs, exploring caves, and spotting harbour seals at play. A highlight of the cruise is Pam Rocks, popular with Harbour Seals and majestic bald eagles soaring overhead. Cruise out into The Strait of Georgia to see awesome views of Vancouver. On your return to Horseshoe Bay you'll view spectacular waterfront homes around West Vancouver.
The Howe Sound Sea Safari Cruise is fast but safe. The aluminum hull design with inflatable tubes makes it comfortable in calm or rough water. Depending on the weather, either Mustang Integrity suits or approved life vests are provided for your comfort and safety. The vessel is equipped with VHF radio and a cell phone. Just relax and enjoy the ride!
What to Wear:
Layered clothing works really well and closed shoes are best
Sunglasses are a good idea on bright days as well as sunscreen
Extra clothes or bags can be locked in a storage room at the office so that they do not get wet on the boat
A really good experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable and the scenery is amazing. While we saw birds of all sorts and some seals, we really would have loved to see some orca. Perhaps this wasn't the best area for spotting them. All in all, I would recommend this cruise.

This was SUCH a fun experience to do. I went with my husband and two friends who have been living in Vancouver for 30 years and they really enjoyed this and had so much fun. Two hours discovering beautiful Howe sound and learning about flora and fauna up close was really great. Boat was fast,fun and comfortable. Our guide, Darren was great and man he could make this boat fly!_br/_ HIGHLY recommend this and a visit to pretty Horshoe Bay is always a good thing to do.

Our best day in BC. Even though the weather was not good at all we still had a blast. Our suits protected and insulated us from the elements especially at high speeds. Saw a lot of wildlife and the view was spectacular._br/_ Hotel pick up and drop off was punctual and the drivers friendly and chatty.

Fantastic trip, far exceeded our expectations, the captain really delivered the fun! Went on this tour with my teenage sons and had a blast. The tour guide was excellent and the scenery was magnificent. An awesome way to experience part of the beauty of the area. My sons enjoyed getting wet on the ride and getting to see harbor seals were an added bonus to the tour. A great time !

Great tour. Ready for some thrill in vancouver. This may be the one for you. We were properly equipped with insulated and semi-water proof coats before embarking the boat and safety briefing was given. I felt well-taken care of. The hotel pick up ride to the tour company was comfortable and my guide Darryn was very friendly and hospitable. Boat ride was thrilling with many surprised sharp turns and a little water splashes. We get to see seals sunbathing on the rocks, ducks, eagles and seagulls. Darryn was an experience boat rafter. He made several stops along the way to introduce us the sceneries. Took this tour this summer. Remember to bring your sunglasses (very important as it protects your eyes that keeps gushing in wind because the boat is traveling at a very fast speed - to me it feels like 100km/hr) and the sunlight). Will definitely recommend this trip.

The cruise met my expectations. They did need to change my time they said due to low numbers at 100 but there was a full boat at 400. They picked us up at the hotel downtown before the cruise and returned us to hotel afterwards. We loved it!
