Get the full Italian experience in one of Vancouver’s most diverse and colorful neighborhoods, The Drive. From Naples-certified pizza to freshly baked cannoli, this 2.5-hour tour takes you on a tasting adventure with mouthwatering surprises waiting for you at each of the 8 stops. Sample paninis, pizza, pasta, Italian meats, cheeses, sangria and several desserts such as cannoli and gelato. End the tour people-watching with an Italian cappuccino to complete the experience. You’ll be led by a passionate local who will share tips and stories about the area, and introduce you to the interesting people behind the scenes. From savory to sweet, if you are a fan of Italian food you will love the “Little Italy Food Tour”.
The Little Italy Walking Tour starts at Fratelli’s Italian Bakery, where you will meet your food-loving local guide before heading off to discover the culinary gems around this must-see foodie neighborhood. As you walk, hear tales of Little Italy’s lesser-known history from your guide, and see sights that many tourist maps miss on your adventure through Vancouver’s original Italian community.
Visit 8 of Little Italy’s most popular shops and restaurants to taste authentic Italian dishes and specialty foods. There is an abundant amount of food and beverages on the tour, equivalent to a large meal. During these tastings your guide will entertain you with little-known anecdotes about the area and will introduce you to some of the owners of these family-run businesses that have been a part of The Drive’s rich history since the 1950s.
The walking tour is 2.5 hours long and covers 5 short blocks on The Drive.
Excellent tour and tour guide. You will not need dinner afterwards. Highly-recommended

The tour is good. Heather, our guide, was great - she was very entertaining and a lot of fun. The history segment is really interesting for both locals and visitors. The food is a bit hit and miss, the fish and chips are not good! I would really like to see some of the new slightly more upscale restaurants on the tour happy to stand outside and sample the food, i don't expect a seat!. That said the chicken at BaoDown is great - i shall be going back there.

Wondering what to do in Vancouver for an afternoon? Well, this Little Italy Walking tour was delightful!! We sampled maybe 8 different treats while in a small group and a guide that was very knowledgeable of the area. This was a lot of fun and I recommend it.

Beautiful day. Charming host Brent, Good food. This is my first food tour but I have been on other walking tours in Vancouver. I would have enjoyed to hear more history of the little Italy.
