Vancouver City Tour with Vancouver Lookout Admission

Vancouver, Canada

First time to Vancouver? Get your bearings on this half-day tour by comfortable coach for a great intro to the seaport city. Admire the sails of Canada Place, and soak up local flavor passing through Robson Street, Chinatown and Gastown. Wind through Stanley Park’s rainforest and shorelines for vistas of Lion’s Gate Bridge and visit Brockton Point’s historic totem poles. Inhale delicious aromas at Granville Island’s Public Market, and top off your tour at Vancouver Lookout with sweeping panoramas of the city, ocean and mountains. Bonus: Hotel transport is included.

After morning hotel pickup by coach, your 4-hour tour of Vancouver begins with key downtown landmarks. Snap a postcard-worthy pic of the five white sails of Canada Place flared toward the sky, while learning about the convention center’s construction for Expo ’86.

Catch glimpses of Vancouver’s rich diversity as you cruise down Robson Street, chock-full of shops from high-end retailers to indie boutiques, fine dining to hole-in-the-wall eateries, sports bars to cafes.

Pass the Olympic Cauldron on your way to Stanley Park, 1,000 acres (400 hectares) of natural oasis. Inside the park, admire nine totem poles at Brockton Point, fabulous examples of First Nation art, and one of the top attractions in British Columbia.

Drive through beautiful landscapes evolving from shoreline to rainforest as you head up to Prospect Point, the park’s highest vantage point for views of the Cascade Mountains and the gorgeous green-tinged Lions Gate Bridge.

After the park, head to another local favorite, Granville Island’s Public Market. Wind through the endless rows of colorful stalls of baked goods, produce, seafood, art and music for an hour, and buy lunch if you want.

Then pass by the 19th-century buildings of Gastown, Vancouver’s historic cobblestoned district, and check out the lively district of Chinatown that is now home to North America’s third-largest Chinese population.

Cap off your introduction to the city with a glass-elevator ride at Vancouver Lookout. It takes 40 seconds to shoot up 554 feet (169 meters) for a walk around the observation deck that looks out over the city, ocean, majestic North Shore Mountains and Olympic Peninsula. Your tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.

Our four-hour trip to the wonderful and amazing places in Vancouver became more exciting and informative through our knowledgeable Tour Guide Larry. His narration of the historical accounts and beginnings of the places we went to made the trip more interesting.

Nice way to end our cruise in Vancouver. Went to the Vancouver Lookout at the Top of Vancouver. Nice view of the whole city. Went through Stanley Park and had lunch at Granville Island. Granville was a great place to eat and shop. Wish we had more time than the 1 1/2 hours. Our tour driver Ken was nice and knowledgeable. Great service and he took us right to our hotel after the tour was done. Thanks again.

We did a day trip to Vancouver while staying in Victoria. This was a perfect choice. We have never been to Canada let alone Vancouver. The tour guide was really friendly and knowledgeable, was raised in Vancouver so able to offer personal insights which made the tour interesting. The air conditioning on the bus was not working well so that was the only comment on an otherwise great day out. Would highly recommend them!

We were picked up early. We had to wait 40 min. Before tour started. A couple did not understand the instructions as to when to return so the tour was delayed 30 min. Another couple had to be back to the cruise line and that became the driver's main concern . U could not hear the driver. And h

Very disappointed on our trip thru Vancouver. Our tour guide was rude always in a rush. He kept telling us he was on a time schedule.

I booked this tour because it said that it would be perfect if you're for the first time in Vancouver - and yeah, the tour keeps its promises. It gave an amazing overview about the Downtown area in the end I was even a little overwhelmed by all the information and impressions. Andy was an excellent and very knowledgable guide thank you very much again!. The ticket for the Vancouver lookout was also a daily ticket, so I could return at night beautiful!.

Our driver was Jack. He did a great job and made our tour very interesting and enjoyable. There were seven children on our bus. 3 babies and the rest under 8 I would say. They were quite noisy and Jack had to compete with them. He was very patient and handled the situation well. He was also extremely helpful in getting us to our hotel as it was just before the start of the championship soccer game and the traffic and crowds of people were all over the place. I give him an A.
