Washington D.C., United States of America

Explore Washington DC’s Arlington National Cemetery and most famous memorials on this 5-hour coach or van and walking tour. See JFK’s grave site and the Eternal Flame, and stroll through sites including the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the World War II Memorial. Witness the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and get great views of the White House, Lincoln Memorial, US Capitol and more. Throughout the day, you’ll hear interesting stories and facts about valiant war heroes from your expert guide.

Meet your guide at the Hyatt Regency at Capitol Hill in the morning and travel by coach or van, depending on the size of your group.

The first 3 hours of the tour will be spent in the city driving by and visiting various memorials including United States Air Force Memorial, the National World War II Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

While riding in the coach, see the gamut of popular landmark locations in and around Washington, DC. There’s the Pentagon, the Lincoln Memorial, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, FBI Headquarters, the Robert F. Aboard the coach, you’ll get great views of sites like the Pentagon, White House, US Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial and the Martin Luther King Jr Memorial.

Throughout your tour, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to take photos, learn about the history of the sites and hear stories of the sacrifices these courageous military heroes made.

This tour concludes with a drop-off at Arlington National Cemetery. Return transportation is not included.

Explore the site of Confederate General Robert E Lee's former 1,100-acre (445-hectare) plantation. Get great views of DC from his home, Arlington House, and head down to the grave site of JFK and the Eternal Flame, where John F Kennedy is buried alongside his wife, Jackie Onassis Kennedy, and brothers Robert F Kennedy and Ted Kennedy.

Witness the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and walk through the cemetery for a more intimate experience of this vast national treasure. Ride the tram (tickets included in the price of the tour) and then take either the Metro or a cab back to your desired location.

Very informative and we enjoyed the flexibility the tour guide gave us. Anyone that kneels or doesnt get emotional during our National Anthem should spend the day in Arlington National Cemetery, a walk among our heros that made the ultimate sacrifice is tear jerking and makes you proud to be an American.

As a military veteran it goes without saying visiting these memorials stirs the deepest feelings of pride of country. Our_br/_ Guide was the happiest bundle of knowledge of all our tourmasters. Some D.C. Events blocked normal passage to sites,_br/_ But our guide found alternate routes and made it seem normal. Simply great.

We were disappointed in our guide. He had a heavy accent and it was difficult to understand what he was saying if you were sitting in the back of the van. Two of the memorial's were closed and he did not substitute any others. It stated in the ad that MLK would be included and when asked he would not take us to it. I also chose this tour as it stated we would be on the Trolley at Arlington and we were not. It was difficult for some of us to hike up the hill. We were also told we would be getting a bottle of wqter and that didn't happen either. Greatly disappointed and it was not worth the price.

I enjoyed the small group of seven. Bobby was a wonderful tour guide with his wit and the information he shared. I never felt rushed at any of our stops. One suggestion as I saw in a comment before I booked this tour - The description says that there is a stop at the Pentagon with lunch at Pentagon City. That did not happen, but I was okay with that. The tour description is deceptive and I believe needs to be updated.

While the tour was nice the driver very friendly. The fact that we were picked up at the Hyatt in Washington DC and left to find our own way back to DC from the Arlington Cemetery with no warning I found very un professional. I understand that is considered a walkable distance there was an older couple on the same tour and they were not able to walk the distance. I feel that should be spelled out specifically at the time of signing up.

the half an hour stop at the three Memorials is, by far, way to limiting, increase the time spent at those memorials to at least an hour would make the trip much more enjoyable, worthwhile and memorable. decrease the time spent in the Nations Capitol would be an easy way to accomplish the increase the time limit at the Lincoln, Viet Nam and Korean War Memorials. Would I take this trip again with the same time restraints, that is very doubtful.

If you are going to do this tour I would recommend having a large group. The day I went there were only three of us. Which meant we got one tour guide/ driver and a van instead of the bus. The man giving the tour was knowledgeable, but it was obviously difficult to drive in downtown D.C. and give a tour.

A wonderful tour. The tour guide Bobby knew all about each memorial and explained them well. Learned a lot about history and other facts I never knew before. Just wish we had more time at the World War II, Vietnam and Korea Memorials. The Arlington Cemetery tour was beyond words.

Highlights: The memorials and cemetery were amazing. All of the sights are a must see. Low points: too little time at the memorials, felt rushed to get one or two pics then return to the van. Also our guide brought thr taboo topic: politics. Please clearly disclose no return trip from Arlington.

This tour, was terrible. We were crammed into a van where our choice was to have the air conditioner on and hear nothing, or turn the air off and roast. When we got to the Navy Memorial, the first stop, the driver said to go check out the building over there, you have 15 minutes. The thought of spending the next few hours hearing everyone in the van complain did not seem appealing, so we gave up our seats. The only saving grace was that we got tickets to Arlington Cemetery. We found our own way there and saw the sites there ourselves. Had we been on a bus with air conditioning and a different sound system, it may have been a different result.

This was a fantastic tour with a great guide who provided a lot of history and information. The only downfall is the amount of time allowed for each stop. There is so much to see and not enough time. Unfortunately, we were not able to see Iwa Jima up close due to funerals at Arlington Cemetery. All in all, I would highly recommend this tour.

On our visit May 5th, we took your tour and were thoroughly disappointed. We didn't see all we paid to see, like the Pentagon City, where we were to stop and have lunch, and we saw the Air Force memorial only from a distance and a moving bus, as well as missing out on the WWII memorial, and the Pentagon memorial. We were told to get off and grab a sandwich from the snack bar near the Korean memorial and the Vietnam War Memorial. Then we were driven to the Arlington National Cemetery and dropped off to fend for ourselves. We took a tram to the sites we wanted to see, then had to make our way to the Metro stop. We paid nearly 138.00 and really felt short-changed.

Well, the info was good. The driver, Bobby, packed in a lot of stuff in a short time which is the way to do it if you're only in town a few days. Only 5 on our tour which was nice. But....We didn't go to any mall for lunch and the tour left us up at Arlington and we had to catch a taxi back to town - not cheap! lunch was a little take out window at a park and we ate in the van. Plus, the van was called Lobo ? tours - no viator mentioned anywhere. Had a heck of a time finding it. I'll definitely think twice about using Viator again

Good tour just be mindful that this tour ends at Arlington and you must find your own transportation back to your original destination.

Arlington is a must see. Unfortunately our guide was unprepared. There was a parade that blocked roads and he was unable to work around the changes. The parade was planned and there were many options if he had planned ahead. Go to Arlington for sure!

While I thought the tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, the van he drove up in looked like an electrician going to work. The body was damaged and the seatbelt in the second seat was broken. When I mentioned it he said there was no need for a seat belt because we were not going to go over five miles per hour and this was not true. We also did not go to lunch at Pentagon City Mall and the people on the tour with us asked specifically for this site and they were upset.

Very bad. We take a tour in spanish and the driver dont speak spanish._br/_ He said us that this is a common problem. He spoke with his boss and he said that dont have solutions, they dont have driver that speak spanish._br/_ A very nice present from viator for us in 2015 ends. We thanks you and will talk about our sad experience with our friends._br/_ The driver was a very nice person, he traied to help us all the time. The name of the driver is Robert. Together we found the solution, he spoke with me in english and with all the family in german._br/_ But we take the trip in spanish._br/_ Best regards_br/_ Edgardo Paniego Rodriguez_br/_ 5491144143254

We had a great time. Our tour guide Bobby was great. We probably could have done the tour in a shorter period of time. Our personal preference. The couple we were with wanted to see everything and we were more under the impression that if we wanted to spend an extended period of time somewhere we would come back the next day or two.

This was a complete waste of money. We were picked up in an old model van, Our Super Shuttle from the airport was nicer and our tour guide was over bearing with his wanna be comedy act. He told jokes that were politically offensive and very awkward. We were dropped off at Arlington National Cemetery and we're told he would pick us up in 2.5-3 hrs. He gave us trolley passes that you can buy for 6 each at the cemetery. He told us you can get a something to eat at the cafeteria however neglected to tell us there was no cafeteria at Arlington Cemetery. He never mention going to the Pentagon Mall for lunch as it was advertised. We ended up taking a taxi back to the hotel as we were not going to deal with the driver anymore. We feel this is a complete waste of money and for 10 taxi plus 6 Arlington trolley pass you can do it all yourself. Then walk to the memorials yourself. Just don't want others to lose money taking this tour.

I had an awesome time on this trip! Our tour driver, Bobby, was awesome. He told me many things about the history of DC that I hadn't known. There were only two of us on this tour so he was able to give us plenty of attention. I just can't say enough about him. He is truly an asset to your company! I would definitely book this again as long as I knew Bobby would be my guide.
