Spend more time interlaken and grindelwald is beautiful

I feel so disappointed of this tour! We just had half an hour in Interlaken and took a few hours in a village, where was not mentioned beforehand and had nothing to do and see. Finally, we went to Grindelwald for a while in the purpose of picking up those people who went up to the Junfrau.

Was in Interlaken and Grindelwald last week and it is an amazing place indeed. Was snowing most of the time and it makes the place look magical. The stop in Interlaken is too small and that is something I did not like about it as it would have been nice to spend a couple of hours in Interlaken, that I was disappointed about, apart from that the company was great and enjoyed the tour. There are only 2 companies that operate these tours and this one grey line are the best for sure. I booked also a tour with the other company called best of switzerland but the tour was a total disorganisation, would not recommend that at all.

EXACTLY GOOD BUT NOT GREAT AND NOT BECAUSE OF THE WEATHER SINCE IT WAS SNOWING AND WAS_br/_ COLD AS WAS EXPECTED.THE PROBLEM WAS THE TOUR GUIDE,THIS GUY HAVE NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE _br/_ SKILLS WHATSOEVER,RUDE AS THEY COME,UPON ARRIVAL IN INTERLAKE,LITERALLY TOOK OFF RUNNING_br/_ FROM THE BUS,DID NOT WANT TO BE BOTHER WITH QUESTIONS OR ANY CONCERNS FOR HIS CUSTOMERS_br/_ ALSO ON THE WAY BACK THE BUS HAVE TO STOP TWICE DUE TO MECHANICAL ISSUES,WELL HE NEVER BOTHER_br/_ TO SAY ANYTHING !!!!!!!!AT ALL,MAYBE THE FIRST STOP OK BUT IN MY VIEW HE IS OBLIGATED AS MATTER OF_br/_ BEING RESPONSIBLE AND THE SAFETY OF HIS GROUP IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY , TO SAY SOMETHING,I WILL CONCLUDE BY SAYING,SIMPLY_br/_ GET RID OF HIM,I DO WORK FOR A MAJOR AIRLINE AND TRAVEL ALL OVER THIS PLANET AND ON THIS TRIP WE DID TOURS IN FRANCE AND THE UK AND THIS GUY IS ONE OF THE WORST TOUR GUIDE I EVER SEEN,RUDE AND NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AT ALL.............

Interlaken was absolutely beautiful, full of shops and eatery overlooking the mountains. Once we got to Grindelwald, it felt like heaven on earth! The alps were simply breathtaking! Bus tour ride was a fair distance but totally worth it!

Although this was the trip we had pre-purchased, our tour guide, Kid great reviews in other postings and we weren't disappointed told us that because of the time of year it was, not everything was open in Grindelwald and he suggested we do the Jungfrau mountains instead. Since the rest of the bus travelers were doing that one, we agreed. It was the best decision we made. We had had rain most of our trip in Germany and it appeared to be stopping in Switzerland - but we took the train over 11,000 feet up over the clouds and the sky was a perfect blue and the mountains were the Swiss Alps we had been looking for. Kid was fantastic as he guided us through the various levels, the ice palace, and key photo opportunities. Our pictures were spectacular. I highly recommend this trip and if you do plan for it, be sure to wear gloves, warm shoes/boots with good traction on ice, and drink a lot of water because the thin air at 11k may affect you. It did me, but not most of the others in the group. It was little hard for me to breathe but there were plenty of places to sit and rest. Regardless, the pictures are priceless and the scenery was spectacular. I hope you get Kid as your guide because he's so great at this.

This tour was self exploration. We were taken by a comfortable coach to both interlaken and Grindelwald. We were able to do our own exploring in these regions.

We had the best time and glad we upgraded to see the Top of Europe! Our tourist guide KID is the best!!! My husband and I still rave about him up to this day! The places we saw are amazingly beautiful!

It was ok, we had a nice time. But the service could have been better. The guide prioritised people who paid more for the Jungfrau mountains tour, barely giving any guidance to us on this tour aside from pick up times. Yes, it's independent but give us some tips! Also not enough time in Interlaken.

Booked this supposedly guided tour. Everyone else in the bus ws taking the upgraded tour. So the guide remained with them for the whole trip while we litterally only got a ride to interlaken and grindelwald. Kid gave us zero info about wt to do, where to eat.. Completely unworth 100$ for a bus ride!

I liked the sites we saw on this tour, and that we could do this on our own. We visited Interlaken and had enough time to grab a quick lunch and walk around some. The rest of the time was spent on our own in Grindelwald, and we took the optional cable car up Mount First. 60 Euros per adult. The walk to the cable car entrance was further than we were told but perhaps the Swiss walk very, very fast. Also, if you do this tour, be informed that the walk to the scenic lake at the top of Mt First is 50 minutes EACH way. Once we got to the top of the mountain and found this out, we realized we did not have enough time at that point to make this trek. If we were quicker about getting there we might have had time. Instead, a couple of us braved the cliff walk. It was spectacular! On the way down, my son and I took the mountain carts down. It was fun, and I liked that the speed can be easily controlled. Unfortunately, the path made the ride bumpy and his phone fell out of his pocket and broke his screen. In other words, secure the times in your pockets. This tour was exactly what I was looking for.

We were originally booked to take the Grinelwald/Interlaken tour, but once we boarded our bus, and saw what the rest of the group was doing, headed for the highest point in Europe, our guide Kid let us upgrade so that we could tag along! Kid was hands down the BEST part of the trip... aside from getting to see the breath-taking scenery of course. I dont think we would have either learned so much about this amazing country, or laughed as hard as we did if he had not been out guide. He was so helpful, informative, and HILARIOUS. We arent a couple who likes to do touristy trips while traveling, but we are SO glad we booked this one. Hands down the best part of our trip to Zürich. We would highly recommend it for anyone who LOVES touristy group tours, or even to people who are like us and usually steer clear of group tours. ESPECIALLY if you get Kid as your tour guide.

It was not like what we had expected the guide was in a rush and they had stopped in Interlaken foe few minutes only so we could not have the time exploring the town. It was really unprofessional.

I would not recommend this tour. The tour guide (Kid) spoke horrible English so I have no idea why he is leading an English tour in Switzerland. He was also very pushy/ aggressive. This tour was also wayy over priced. You and #39;re better off renting a car and going yourself

This is not a tour! _br/_ This is basically a bus trip to Interlaken and Grindelwald without the freedom of choosing your own schedule. At the start of the 'tour' we were pressurised by the guide to 'upgrade' our tour to a more expensive one which we did not do. On the Interlaken-Grindelwald tour you are dropped off in each place for several hours by yourself and have to find your own way/things to do, you would be better off renting a car or just getting the bus or train. _br/_ The 'upgraded' tour carries on up the mountain and collects you on the way back. You are left on your own in both Interlaken and Grindelwald with no guidance or assistance. _br/_ The tour guide had extremely poor English and was very rude when asked questions. The tour guide also implied that the Interlaken-Grindelwald tour was not that good and pushed very hard to get us to 'upgrade' for an extra 135 each.

Except on the way from Zurich to Interlaken, the tour guide introduced something about the places we saw on the bus. Otherwise, the whole trip, only me and a Canadian couple just visited these two villages by ourselves. All were free time. The tour guide and other people went on the mountain top for the whole trip. Hence, the tour fee I paid was just the transportation cost. How ridiculous it was !!! Very very bad experience !!!
