You must go to see the Rockies if visting Calgary and this trip was great from the Hotel pickup to the return and the Gondola up the mountain was incredible with awsome scenery.

This 10 hour day started with a two hour bus ride from Calgary to Banff. There was Lake Louise in all her splendor as shadows mirrored the pristine waters. We drove through town to see the resort. Went through fashionable neighborhoods. While in Banff, we rode the gondola for a panoramic view of the resort many thousands of feet below. An optional boat cruise on Lake Minnewanka was taken. Touristy, but still spectacular. This tour was very professional. Recommended.

We enjoyed our all day trip from Calgary to Banff, riding the gondola and seeing all the sights around Banff. It was especially nice to enjoy a cup of coffee or hot chocolate after the trip to the sulfur springs!! I am still using my cup back at work._br/_ The only jarring note was that we thought we would be taken back to the Fairmont Pallister Hotel in Calgary where we had started the trip that morning but there was a side trip to the airport first making the day longer. _br/_ Otherwise it was a very enjoyable day with great hosts and I would highly recommend it!!

The guide and driver were great as was the gondola and other sights. However, Banff, itself was no big deal. Also, it's a long ride from Calgary to Banff. If you're staying in Banff then take the tour, but if not find something else to do closer to Calgary.

It's an early start to the day out of Calgary, but well worth it. Having the gondola ride first was great from the perspective that my breath was taken away right off the bat and it was only crowded on the way down. The guide was knowledgeable and humorous. I'm not really a tour kind of person, but this one was excellent.

Banff was wonderful but I was concerned that the second driver was not sure where to direct me to the bus terminal for my ride back to,Calgary. Turns out he directed me incorrectly to the wrong terminal and I found my way to the Brewster depot by accident.

The tour wasn't really a whole day tour of Banff, everything was really time contrained to the point that you are only given minutes to explore places, it was simply because all those people with different tour packages are asked to stay in one bus to explore banff just for hours in the morning. The tour operator was in a hurry just because other people on the bus had to go to other places as well in the afternoon. It's just like you paid for nothing coz you dont have enough nor ample time to explore and enjoy what you see, everything was just a snap. Then, we left Banff at 3.30 in the afternoon and we arrived in Calgary at 8.oo pm just because there were too many stopovers of the bus. In short the tour wasnt a tour it was simply a road trip. More time spent on the travel and not on the tour.

This tour was the only reason we stopped at Calgary and it did not disappoint. The Rockies were superb and we got a fantastic view from the Gondola ride. It was also good to be able to wander around the town of Bamff. The only minor negative was the confusion over the return bus trip (i.e. we went on a different bus) but the original driver did everything he could to line it up and make it work. A fantastic day and very worthwhile.

At the end of the tour the bus left us at the central bus station of Banff, where we had to change the bus back to Calgary. It would have been nicer to stay in one bus the whole tour. But in general the trip was very nice and I would recommend this trip to other persons, especially for people who do not have much time but would like to have an impression of the beautiful Rockies. (Tip: do not book the gondola in advance, because of the unknown weather conditions. You can buy a ticket at the gondola station or drink there coffee)

The weather was lousy, which is not the tour company's fault and the guide did his best. However, I don't think it was worth 155. We only stopped in Banff for an hour - which was supposed to give us time for lunch and shopping. What woman can do lunch and shopping in just 60 minutes? Then, at the end of the day, the bus driver/guide dumped me at the bus station, which was not discussed at the beginning of the trip, so he could go on and take people to other resorts and I could catch another bus back to Calgary. Strange. Very strange. And since I was alone, it was even stranger.
