Comfortably seating up to two passengers, this experience allows you to sit back and take in all the sights from the Cancun skyline.
After a scenic boat ride out in the water, it's time to jump in the parasail and buckle up! The rope will slowly release, allowing you to soar further and further away from the boat. Travel between 200 and 350 feet (61 - 105 meters) above the turquoise waters and gaze down at famous landmarks such as Isla Mujeres, the Cancun hotel zone and the tropical jungle.
The lagoon option gives you the opportunity to soar high above the Nichupte waters and allows you to take in up-close views of the Cancun hotel zone, famous beaches and tropical jungle. One the other hand, the ocean option gives you the feeling of freedom as miles of water stretches before you. You'll also receive breathtaking views of Isla Mujeres and you'll be able to see the Cancun coastline in the distance.

I paid for this on viator 03/23 and realized on 03/24 I had entered the wrong date. The local office was already closed so I sent a message through viator asking if it would be ok to come on the 24th because I never registered for a time. I tried calling but I stayed on hold and someone kept hanging up.

Kept being sent from one place to another...finally after one of the people spent about 30 mins on the phone they accepted our voucher. I would not recommend this to anyone. Rather you buy your parasailing adventure locally on the spot.

This was a GREAT parasailing experience! It was a little confusing to get to the correct place- we were given a hotel name, and there ended up being 2 hotels with the same name within half a mile of each other. We waited a while at the wrong hotel before I had to call and clarify again. However, the experience itself was great. We had 3 adults, we fit comfortably in the bench. They also take photos and video that is available for purchase. The staff was all great, very kind and made the experience fun.

Not easy to find and bring a change of clothes because you will walk out to the small boat in chest deep water. The small boat will take you to the larger boat.

This was a nice thing to do with my 5 year old. I think my older kids 16 and 13 would of liked the harness as opposed to the cart. _br/_ The staff was great for our safety they delayed us while the sky cleared up and I appreciated it! They were helpful and did a great job!

I would recommend just purchasing the parasailing right though the company with the yellow smile face parashoots-which was who we ended up with. The Viator experience was not pleasant to be honest. I was given wrong information from the local number provided on the Viator paperwork. I stayed at the Crown Paradise-18.5 km Kukulcan. The company I used was great after a few mix ups with some guys at the wrong tent that I was sent to. Speak with Tony or Luis at the tent on the beach about 30 feet to the right if you're facing the water of the hotel mentioned above. They are fantastic! Tony took us out to the boat on a jet ski and dropped us back off again. I highly recommend doing the parasailing as my two daughters 8 and 12 LOVED it. It does work out slightly cheaper booking through Viator but for the headaches we went through, I would have gladly spend the extra 20US that it would have cost to purchase right at the beach.

Quiet take off and landing and the ride was smooth. Worth the ride over the Lagoon. Only minor point is that the photographer on the boat can inform us early (before starting the ride) on when to get ready for the snaps so we can be ready. Price of the snaps were higher than expected (compared to Xel-ha etc).

The tour was not what was advertised I book parasailing over the ocean with a 45 minute boat ride. I had to take a taxi to the location , and then it was a skyrider. Nothing that I expected.

I would highly recommend this tour. The jet ski to the boat was almost more fun than the parasailing. The only drawback was being forced to leave a tip they were going to get a tip anyway they didn't need to be so forceful about it but don't let this put you off it was an excellent excursion.

The actual excursion was amazing, but trying to call them and confirm was another story. We called as it said on the voucher to confirm the time and they told us to call them again the day of, 2 hours prior to just make sure. Was surprised the resort wouldn't call for us and would charge us(resorts drawback) but when we called they were not clear on where to meet and it was almost painful.. I almost cancelled but went anyway since i really wanted to do this excursion. But once we were up in the air it was stunning.. breathtaking views! The boat riders were fun to be around and a good excursion.

My son and I boarded the boat and went out in the lagoon and stepped into the seat. It was a very gentle take off from the platform... not scary at all. We went up about 300 feet for about 30 minutes. What breath-taking views! The wench on the boat pulled us back where we gently landed on a platform. We never got wet. This was great!

It was great. No surprises, except they asked us to pay $6 per person as docking fee. We were not tolda about this from the Viator rep in the US, but the rep in Cancun warned us before we went to the marina. The boat crew was very friendly and enthusiastic. I would recommend this.

Had so much fun! All three of us were able to go at the same time! The staff was VERY nice and made it fun for us! They took AMAZING pictures and the pictures were well worth $40USD. So glad I decided to buy the pictures. This is something we had been talking about doing for over a year and I am so happy that the staff made our parasailing adventure enjoyable! Thank you so much! I wish I would have gotten their names but we went on Sunday 6/17/12 around 3 pm!! We were a little late because we went to the wrong Fiesta Americana. That is my only complaint.
