To experience Las Vegas and all the well-known landmarks form the air was amazing...our pilots of both the plane and the helicopter was professional and we always felt safe....a hard thing to prove if half of the people of the group are either a pilot, aeronautical engineer or flight enthusiasts....! thanks to all for an awesome experience. this was a great way to start our holiday in Las Vegas.... if you are not a Las Vegas Strip fan and shows and neon lights is not your thing...do this trip - it will open your eyes to a totally different Las Vegas. Maybe after that go and visit the Hoover dam and dam-wall....

This was and excellent trip. From the plane ride out, to the helicopter down to the floor of the canyon and the pontoon boat ride on the river was just amazing and very well organised. Was a bit worried about the Skywalk as I am afraid of heights BUT so glad I did it. Was just so surreal walking out into nothing.

What an amazing trip! This was so worth doing, everything was more than our expectations! Well organised, even a phone call to us the night before we left England to inform us that the President was in Las Vegas and our pick up time would be earlier! Magnificent views of the Grand Canyon from the helicopter and the trip on the Colarado river was amazing. Although scarey the West Rim sky walk needs to be done to appreciate the wonderful views! We have really mixed feelings about the Grand Canyon Air Tour. Despite the incredible scenery and the chance to tour a truly impressive natural wonder, the overall experience was really quite mixed. While all of the people were genuinely helpful and friendly and everything went quite smoothly, we are left with a feeling that the overall experience could have been much better. To start with, we were staying at the wrong hotel to make the trip the least annoying. Because we stayed at the Stratosphere, we had to meet the bus at 4:15 a.m. and then proceed to several other hotels where we often waited for other customers who seemed not to know that the pickup times were. This is not the tour operator's fault, just part of our experience. The bus ride out to the airport also seemed to add to the relative discomfort as did the limited selection of breakfast items and the somewhat lengthy wait to take off in the airplane. The ride in the airplane was very good and quite scenic. After landing, there were more waits to board the helicopters, which while fine and scenic are understandably very short. We were encouraged to go quickly down to the boats on the river for a brief ride, which was fine. The best part was asking the driver about the history of his tribe which he proudly detailed. Because there were so many helicopters taking off and landing, the whole atmosphere was more busy than relaxed and scenic. Once we returned via helicopter we were given a truly mediocre sack lunch and instructions to take a bus to the Skywalk. Even though you are not going on this tour for the lunch, it was truly awful when compared to the lunch offered on a photographic tour later in the week. The other extremely disappointing part was there was not any time left for us to stop at Guano Point due to the rushed time schedule imposed on getting us back to the airfield for the return flight. As a final disappointment, we were again no fault of the tour operators, the last people to be delivered to our hotel. The overall experience was one of a tour that was very rushed and hectic which detracted from the experience we had anticipated. Compared to other Viator experiences this was by far the most disappointing. Even with very good coordination and quite reasonable customer service, the overall satisfaction for us was lacking. If you are more interested in the relative excitement in different modes of transportation and have never been in a helicopter, then you might find the experience more enjoyable. We found that in spite of the good coordination and helpful employees, the overall experience to be very much lacking from too many transfers, too much waiting and disregard for the quality of the lunch/snack served. It sounded so much better than the actual experience.

Go for the helicopter ride if you are OK with flying!!! We did not and I regret it. We did the skywalk and pretty amazing but watching helicopters fly in the canyon I knew we made a mistake. More money but how many times you going to go the Grand Canyon. I know I will once more to do the helicopter ride.

Best to go early morning, 5AM hotel pick up, avoid crowds an the heat. The boat ride on the colorado not worth it, it is just about 15 minutes long and boring. Enjoyed the Skywalk and the views. The best was the plane ride and the helicopter ride, they offered great views of the desert and Hoover Dam. Found the helicopter personnel not friendly, not allowed to take photos prior or after the ride to the river- no narration or explanation of Grand Cannyon etc. Not worth the 569.

My wife and I always wanted to experience the West Grand Canyon Skywalk. I usually drive to travel destinations, instead we opted for Viator to book Skywalk with air and river boat tour included. We enjoyed a comfortable bus ride from our Las Vegas hotel to to Boulder City airport. Wife enjoyed the commuter plane to West Grand Canyon and were thrilled with the helicopter ride into the canyon rim. I have many photos and videos to cherish this adventure. Thanks!

We didn't do any extras so we would have more time to explore the points at our leisure - and we are so glad we chose this! We took the early morning tour and the lookouts were very quiet, at numerous points we were the only couple there, so we got great uninterrupted photos._br/_ The food offered was tasty and the view was amazing._br/_ Flights ran smoothly and staff were friendly. _br/_ Highly recommend this tour.

For those who chose all 3 options there was lot of waiting resulting in feeling rushed at the actual sites; that may be better at a different time of year. We didn and #39;t get much info ahead of time about what would happen next, just had to go with the flow. Stunning scenery; worth doing off-peak season.

What a great and informative trip. We got to fly to the grand canyon a quick 35 minute flight. Once we arrived we flew to the bottom of the canyon and walked down to the dock and took a boat ride on the river. Then took the helicopter up. After that we had some time on our own to visit the the viewing points, eat lunch and do the Skywalk, all at our own pace. Overall well organized, and all of the staff were great. Go on this tour!

Wonderful tour. Small plane flight gave us great views of Hoover Dam etc. Helicopter to base of canyon and boat ride on Colorado river was awesome and the skywalk spectacular. Lunch was great and in a beautiful location. Tour was well worth the money and most memorable.

The Skywalk is not worth it, in my opinión. Plus we had too little time at the Canyon. Also, the shuttle brought us to a different hotel, instead of the one we were picked up from.

Great experience. Did not add the helicopter or boat ride, but did do the skywalk. It was well worth it. There was plenty of time to walk around at various points at the Grand Canyon before heading back to Vegas. The pilots were very friendly and I felt very safe.

This was a fantastic experience. Had plenty of time at each part of the trip. The plane ride to the canyon gave great views of the Hoover dam and lake mead. The helicopter trip and boat ride along the Colorado river were the highlights. Every part of the trip went smoothly. The lunch served over looking the canyon was good. The skywalk was good just one note you cannot take your own cameras onto the skywalk. An amazing trip will always remember it. Good value

Everything went very smoothly with minimal waiting around and the organisation of all aspects was very professional._br/_
We didn't do the skywalk and don't feel that we missed out! The free lunch is huge and was very tasty and served extremely promptly so it dd not impact on the time we had._br/_
The plane flight and helicopter rides were exhilarating and fun. The boat trip was actually a lot more enjoyable than we expected 2 adults, 1 11 yo child and provided some fantastic pictures._br/_
Definitely worth doing this trip as a once in a lifetime experience.

Everything went great, except the lunch and views from that area. A wind and rain storm were very bad with no protection from the cold wind and rain, it was impossible to have ones lunch. There needs to be a proper eating area!

I began this trip on early morning 2 December 2014 ,it's very early ,sleepy and a bit tried, we arrived at the local airport at Dawn , it's very convenient for checking in process there, the pilot was very friendly and good entertainer during our short flight to west rim of Grand Canyon, Everything was already arranged for you to visit the Guano point and Skywalk, a bit disappointed with skywalk , not worth your money to visit !!! I don't recommend this tourist spots. Taking a cruise on colorado river by Pantoon boat was very exciting new experience for me.

"Like Clockwork" ..... From being picked up at our hotel, The Venetian, to boarding our helicopter for the flight down into the base of the canyon everything was timed to precision. This trip will always be regarded by both myself and my wife as the best trip we have ever been on. The views are breathtaking and our decision to fly from Boulder City to the canyon as opposed to taking the "losing the will to live" three and a half hours coach route was money well spent and you should all do the same._br/_
The Hualapai Indians administer 1,000,000 acres of the rim and the amenities provided by them are second to none, all for your pleasure and comfort. Tarmac roads, landscaped areas, all for your benefit._br/_
They funded and contracted the building of the "Skywalk", the glass platform you can walk out on but your view from this tourist attraction is no different from the adjacent flat areas of rock next to the same area of the canyon. Also, the banning of photographic equipment and mobile phones on this glassed area also defeats the object of paying extra to walk out onto it. So, in essence, save your money. My wife and I were able to take lots of photos and videos of the decent into and out of the canyon by helicopter and also the flight to and from the canyon from Boulder City Airport. Our 16 year old daughter is studying the Grand Canyon rock structure, flora and fauna at college so we were able to assist her with lots of photo images of the same._br/_

An amazing, action packed day! We were picked up from our hotel in Vegas at 7:30am and driven to Boulder City where we had time for coffee in the small but comfortable airport before our flight to the West Rim. We boarded a 19-seater plane and flew over Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam to reach the West Rim. There, we were escorted straight onto a helicopter that flew us down into the Canyon to board a boat operated by the Hualapai Tribe. We very much enjoyed the 30-minute cruise on the Colorado River and had chance to take photos and hear about the area's geology. Then it was back on the helicopter which swooped up the Canyon and dropped us off for a bus ride to Guano Point. There we were served a surprisingly good lunch of BBQ beef, mashed potato, vegetables and a cookie - a hearty American lunch! We enjoyed lunch with amazing panoramic views of the Grand Canyon and then had time to relax and hike a little before the bus back to the airport for the flight to Vegas, where we arrived about 4pm. If you want to explore the Canyon by plane, helicopter, bus and boat - this is the tour for you!

A fab day out in the Grand Canyon leaving memories that will last a lifetime... highlight for me was undoubtedly the helicopter ride from the west rim airport right into the Canyon. Simply amazing. We chose the tour only option and felt that gave us a nice amount of time at Guano Point, the stop on the tour that provided the best views. This tour covers a lot of ground and includes several components but the company did a great job of gluing these together and we were looked after very well by their staff on the ground. I had been to the Canyon previously on a 4-hour tour and felt the extra money for 2-3 hours longer was well worth it.

On the airport in order to take the flight, to the other airport, more than one hour waiting to get in the plane._br/_
When we arrived the other airport, more than an hour to get to the elicopter, waiting standing._br/_
5 minutes ride down, and 5 minutes ride up._br/_
Then, the boat. A joke ! no kidding._br/_
Then the skywalk, another hour in a waiting line. and you are on your own._br/_
Then you shoul be back at the airport at 12:00 but we havent had a lunch included, wich we couldnt take because of bad timeing._br/_
Then another hour waiting to get to the plana again and back to de Boulder airport._br/_
Conclution.- From the hole tour, nice views and the elicopter ride. The rest is poor._br/_
Not worth the amount of money I had to spend for me, my wife and three kids._br/_
To much waiting !!! please treat your clients as humans not as animals.
