This was a year ago and we still feel a bit cheated. The guide was not very friendly, told us we needed to skip Positano and the driver made us all so sick. I would not recommend this tour. It was long, we didn't get to see much and she made us rush in each place sometimes only spending 30min. Not relaxing

We booked this trip through Viator, and everything worked out the way it was supposed to. The driver met us at our hotel in Naples, and took us on a one-day tour of the Amalfi Coast. We were very glad we had hired a driver we have been to Italy many times, but we know that the further south you travel in Italy, the crazier the traffic becomes. Our driver was courteous and safe he knew where the good spots were to stop and take a photo along the way - and the scenery was spectacular. The car was a Mercedes, a very comfortable automobile. _br/_ We went to four towns: Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. It was a fully-packed day, with plenty to see in each town, as well as great views along the roads. The driver knew the area very well - he knew where to park, where to let us off, and where to pick us up. It all worked very well. I recommend that you know how much time you want to spend in each location before you get in the car. Then you can review the plan with the driver and make adjustments. Of course, you could spend an entire day in each town, so you must be ruthless in your time allotment to pack it all into one day, like we did. We walked a lot in each town, and we had a very quick midday meal, in order to take in as much as we could. This is a tour for travelers who really want to get out and see quite a bit in a short period of time.

We were in Italy for Spring Break and discovered this great option as a day trip from Rome. We grabbed an early train to Naples and our private van picked us up across from the station. This was the most efficient use of our family's time to explore the Amalfi Coast in only 8 hours and it was worth every penny. We got to see all four towns and were allowed ample time to explore, relax and enjoy the uniqueness of each location. Our driver and tour guide shared some history to acquaint us to the area, yet didn't chat too much, recognizing that we were there to view the beauty and get just a taste of the Amalfi Coast.

We had a private tour with an English speaking guide. It took about 9 hours and pick up/drop off at hotel. Loved the Amalfi coast. We stopped in all the town's to walk through the markets. Great little restaurants. Sorrento was my favorite and the largest. Next time I will spend a little more time there. Positano was my next favorite. Beautiful and clean town. Beautiful Italian tile and ceramic bowls, tables, and sculptures. Amalfi, what can I say, amazing area, also. Travelling is a very small town. Will skip it next time to spend more time in the other 3 town's. Very much worth the price we paid.

I am SO VERY HAPPY that we booked a private tour of the Amalfi Coast. There was no private guide available for the date we were booking since it was off season November 2017, but that was just fine because we had GIOVANNI as our driver! Giovanni knows the Amalfi coast very well and is a very skilled driver! He picked us up right on time and with a huge smile. He slowed down and even stopped at many scenic spots along the trip in a safe way to allow us to get plenty of photos and videos. Those photos/videos are now among our most cherished family memories! I don't travel very much and am a very frugal person all I can say is that this private tour of the Amalfi Coast was worth every single penny, it was the centerpiece of our 2 weeks in Europe, and it's the one place I feel I must return to someday in my future! And when I return, I'll purposely spend more time on the coast, and I will definitely request Giovanni to be our driver/guide. We consider him like a distant, beloved uncle! And his English is unbelievably good!

this was a great way to end our vacation! Having been to the Amalfi coast in the past we wanted to return taking the high speed train 1hour 15 min from Rome in the morning meeting our driver Alberto at the Naples Central station, we were off on the days adventure. Alberto was full of interesting local information while driving us. As we did not select the guided tour option the day was ours with free time at each stop to wonder enjoy shopping in Sorrento and Positano , lunch on the plaza in Amalfi and exploring tiny village of Ravello. Alberto returned us to Naples Station allowing us to take train back to Rome. this is a great option for anyone not wanting lots of structure in a day trip

Six friends booked this tour and it was the perfect way to explore the Amalfi Coast at our own pace. We chose to skip Amalfi to spend more time in the three other towns, which made for a more leisurely day. Marianna was lively, personable, and kept us laughing all day. This was a great tour! Our driver, Giovanni, picked us up in a nice car and spent the day driving us to the small, quaint towns on the Amalfia Coast. His English was wonderful and he was able to teach us a few Italian words, too! I had been nervous about the drive up the coast because I thought it might be scary, but he did a wonderful job navigating the narrow, curvy roads. We spent time in four beautiful towns and he dropped is off at a beautiful, romantic place overlooking the water for lunch. Everything was perfecto!

We recently took the private Tour with Project Amalfi and we were highly satisfied with the level of service and quality of the personnel. They were kind enough to accommodate our request for an early pick up time and a specified drop off after the tour. Our driver was Manuel Emmanuelle and he was fantastic he was the sunshine we didnt get otherwise!!!! He made the trip highly enjoyable with a great attitude and trying his best to make something out of one of the worst storms he had seen we had really bad luck with heavy thunderstorms during our tour and he kept pushing forward, driving through really tough roads and you could sense his desire to make our trip as enjoyable as possible given the circumstances. Ultimately, it was a memorable experience, if not for the views, for Emmanuelle and his great service. Would highly recommend their services.

the trip was very good and viator was always available on phone.. They are flexible too as i had added one more traveler in the last minute. the driver Joe speaks good English though he underestimates himself low in English. he he was ready with my name written in an A4 sheet exactly at 9 am near star hotel terminus and dropped us as requested by 5 45 pm.

It was a delightful day trip and we saw a great deal in the time we had. Our driver Alberto was very knowledgeable and helpful. Lunch was at a local restaurant near Amalfi overlooking the water and under the lemon arbor. My only wish was there was more time in that one day but now I know where I would go back and stay longer. Highly recommend this tour!

Outstanding, our driver Gianni was incredible he knew the perfect places to stop for a great photo opportunities, went out of his way to help us gain access to a hotel that I had stayed at years before in Sorrento, with just a minutes notice he made a couple of phone calls and got lunch reservations at the most incredible restaurant overlooking Positano. We had originally booked a 1963 classic convertible but decided to go with this tour so we can both relax and enjoy the views it was worth every penny and I'd highly recommend it

Energetic and informative tour guide Manuel really made this trip fun for us. Manuel gave us options to adjust the tour and when hillside fires impacted our ability to get from Positano to Amalfi/Ravello, he adjusted our time in Positano and added a stop to the Lemoncello outlet in Meta. It was nice not to have to worry about logistics and just enjoy the scenery.

It was a beautiful tour, the coastline scenes are amazing, we certainly enjoyed the views. The driver and tour guide, Alex, are courteous, and very nice, we do appreciate. However, if the information of the rough timeline of the tour, such as driving time between towns, and approximate duration we could spend on a town, could be revealed or communicated to us before the trip, it would definitely help or enhance our entire experience. Due to some traffic jam, we only spent about 20 minutes in Sorrento, roughly 10 minutes in Positano, and about 5 minutes in Amalfi, no stop in Ravello which is fine, but over 45 minutes in a very expensive restaurant for lunch. We love the beautiful towns we visited, but if we go back, we would do differently.

It was the best part of our holiday to Naples there was 5 of us. Definitely recommend it. The driver Savio was lovely and tried to give us info about what he thought might interest us. He spoke English very well. The restaurant that he took us with the lemon trees was also in a very nice location and food was good.

We had a GREAT tour of Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi Coast. It's one of the best places I've seen in Italy. Thanks to Giovanni the driver who drove us all around these places. He was awesome! The tour didn't come with a guide but, he was kind enough to give us a brief explanation of the places we went to. The restaurant he recommended over looking Sorrento island was fantastic! The food was delicious and reasonable. If you're taking this tour, make sure to request for Giovanni. He's the best!

My daughter and I traveled to Amalfi Coast on a private tour with Project Napoli. Giovanni arrived well ahead of time, was patient, attentive, courteous and overall only a pleasure and a huge asset to his company. I am a wheelchair traveler which has its own challenges that have the ability to cause a bitter experience but with Project Napoli's superb, brand new minivan we ad the best time and the most comfortable experience. I will undoubtedly recommend Project Napoli and in particular Giovanni for a private tour to the Amalfi Coast. This tour was not worth the money we paid for. It was a private driver just droping us off in each town for 45 min and Ravello was only 30min! It was a good introduction to each town but felt very much rush and boring! I expected more from this.

We had a wonderful day out from Naples to going down the Amalfi coast, visiting Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and Revello, full of magical memories that will last forever. It was made even more special by our driver for the day, Rosario, who was informative about all the places we visited and recommended a wonderful lunch stop in the hills above Positano. The restaurant had very good food and stunning views. If anyone wants a perfect day out, this is the one, and if you ask for Rosario you won't be disappointed at any time during the day.

This was a wonderful tour. I believe our tour guide was Max, he gave us a hisorical narrative as we travelled the coast. We stopped for fresh lemonaid, vendors selling spices I wish I bought more and had lunch outdoors with lemon trees flanking the rooftop of our resturant. The view was amazing and we never felt rushed. We visited the inlaid wood shop in Sorrento and bought lemoncello in a street market. The guide and driver picked us up in a Mercedes Suv that was air conditioned and very comfortable. I would highly recommend.

We took a chance on this group through its internet site. Viator promised that we could see the cities of the Amalfi Coast in a one-day private tour. We were absolutely delighted with the tour guide and driver needed for this circuitous drive through the mountains! Our guide had excellent English language skills and a wonderful command of the history of the area. The tour hit the highlights of Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and Ravello an villages inbetween. Each location had a different flavor and rich backdrop for exploring and learning. We had time on the tour in each town to wander on our own shopping and eating. We stopped at strategic points for fabulous views. We highly recommend this tour and want the company to know how much we appreciated our guide and our driver.

Overall experience of the tour is good. Our driver Giovanni was helpful and courteous. The reservation process is pretty smooth but I did confirmed a day ahead just to be sure._br/_ We covered Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and Ravello in approximately 7hrs. Had our lunch in Amalfi only few restaurants were open as it was 24th Dec. Overall a great experience if you want to cover the 4 cities with beautiful sceneries in a good car in 7hrs.

Cero, pronounced Cheero was the PERFECT guide He was an excellent driver, an excellent photographer, and suggested the perfect place to have lunch overlooking the coastline. It was, beyond any doubt, THE trip of a lifetime We chose not to have a guide as all we wanted were the views. Cero was all we needed, he stopped whenever we asked for photos, took our pictures when asked and he did point out several places along the way so we didn't need a guide at all. Ask for Cero, you won't regret it

WOW! We thought we would be in a van with six other people. As it turned out, I paid for a private tour didn't realize I had done that and it was just the driver Giovanni, the guide Julianna, my wife and I. We had never been down the coast so we had no idea what questions to ask. No problem, Julianna and Giovanni took us everywhere and explained everything, two amazing people. We saw Sorrento, Positano, Praiano, Amalfi, and Ravello. Julianna picked a place in Praiano for lunch outdoors on bluff overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, romantic and stunning. The cost for both driver and guide was a little over 600, but if you have never done this tour, it is more than worth the cost. Oh, and they picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel in Naples. AWESOME!

A highly recommended day trip to the Amalfi Coast in a comfortable modern van covering the towns of Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and Vietri. Our driver Chiaro sorry if I misspelt his name is an excellent driver and he helped us all with that we needed during the day trip and was very kind to our 5 year old throughout, even with some brief information on the sights that we went past. We had an absolutely lovely lunch at seaside restaurant near Conca dei Marini which Chiaro brought us to. Our only regret was that we did not get to go to Ravello we weren't sure why this was left out as it was not explained to us, but we thoroughly enjoyed everything else, so this was the only negative point for us.
