This was an easy way to see the Statue of Liberty and lower Manhattan without walking all over the place. Only bad part was the weather was terrible...fog and light rain...and cold! Boat was nice and warm though. You can get off at stops...like the World Trade Center Memorial and get back on later. Watch the times so you don't miss the next boat. Jacob did a nice job narrating the trip.

We loved this tour. It was our first morning in NYC and was a great way to see many of the sights and gain our bearings of the city. Nadia was the host ands she was awesome! So knowledgeable and entertaining. It was great that we could also get off at the 9/11 Memorial. Thank you, would definitely recommend.

it was a beautiful way to spend time with friends and family. lots of great information on the different boroughs, tunnels and bridges. We also got some excellent pictures of the Statute of Liberty.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We were told the cruise left on the hour, it actually left at 1/2 hour so we waited an hour and a half. Then when we finally boarded the cruise did not go to all the sights, we were totally bummed not to see Brooklyn Bridge. It said it was 90 minutes, we were done in 60.

While my memory of this experience does tip to the positive side, and while I did manage to learn a few things I didn't already know,I did not understand that at least 1/3 of the 90 minute boat ride included stopping to let people on and off the boat. I may have gleaned about 10 of the talk given in ENGLISH, the ad proudly stated, I simply could not hear what was said. Since it was a holiday week, many, many people, speaking many languages helped drown him out. At the end I realized that standing right under the loud speaker would have achieved better results.

This had a live person giving the detail on the trip. She was knowledgeable. I like it better than when you have a head set and have a recorded message.

The cruise itself was great allowing beautiful views of the Manhattan skyline, Statue of Liberty, and Brooklyn Bridge. On the other hand, the tour guide with the microphone was possibly one of the most obnoxious people I've met. He literally scolded passengers for taking photos over and over. He had so many rude comments, it made our experience less than desired.

A very enjoyable cruise, really fabulous seeing the sights of the skylines and bridges from the water. The tour guide was excellent giving a ton of history on each of the sights... A must do if you are visiting New York!

This tour was so worth it! The staff as a whole were very friendly but our guide Michael was simply AMAZING. So knowledgeable and funny. Definitely try to get a spot up top if you can handle the brisk cold wind.

This was perfect! You get to see so much from a different perspective. The Statue of Liberty was amazing! My only suggestion is to get there early and get to the top. It was SUPER crowded!

OI like a tour with a person who speaks to you and not through a head set. It was a beautiful and day and we saw things from the boat that do not look the same on land. We got off and went up n the World Trade Center. That is also very well done. with the voucher from the boat we did not have to wait in line to buy a ticket. Very worth while.

We were so lucky to have clear weather and the tour itself was well executed. We were a little confused as the boats captain spoke of getting off the boat at different stops and to rebroad when we wanted to. We assumed we were eligible for this and only because we asked the question as to how the boat staff would ascertain that we were paying passengers on reboarding did we realise that we did not have the hop on hop off option and we were able to quickly get back on board prior to the boat leaving the pier. I would strongly recommend purchasing this option.

Great views of city from the Hudson River, started Pier 78, close to the north end of the High Line, took us around the bend of the river and under the Brooklyn Bridge before turning around. Stopped right alongside the Statue of Liberty on the return trip to allow a good photo shoot. Informative running commentary, though guide spoke very fast so did not catch it all. Note that it is promoted as 90 minute tour, but same boat used to provide the hop on, hop off tour, so we did make two stops along the way which ate up some minutes to allow debarcation and embarcation of passengers.

We had a beautiful sunny day so the skyline was sharp and beautiful. The guide on the cruise was excellent. We would recommend this cruise to anyone visiting NYC.

My trip was an experience of a life time, my family and I enjoyed the tour exceptionally and will and looking forward to doing it again._br/_ Getting to the pier was easy and on arrival the welcome was fine._br/_ We had time to take photos and look around, the tour guide was clear and full of knowledge of the sites._br/_ We saw the Empire state building, Chrysler building, pass by Ground zero site of the former twin towers, pass by the Brooklyn bridge and many others._br/_ The tour went out to Ellis Island statue of Liberty where it turned around and made its way back to the pier allowing you to see the sites from a different angle._br/_ It was a beautiful cruise and worth every penny, to anyone who is thinking about taking this cruise stop thinking and just do it, its worth it, and if you have children they are not left out my children find it very educational._br/_ Love it.

My 11 year old daughter and I had a great time on this tour. It was raining that day but even so, we enjoyed seeing the sights. The top floor of the boat is partially covered so we could still sit outside. The only two small things I would change is that the bathroom sink didn't work and the tour guide was quite aggressive asking for tips. She was, however, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We really enjoyed this tour despite the lousy weather!

Had no problem exchanging voucher for tickets. No wait time got right on after exchange. Found out that additional ticket can be gotten to get on and off the cruise to visit different parts of new York financial district, Brooklyn, etc. Very nice

This cruise provided a very relaxing and educational tour of New York City's shoreline. Exploration of the city can be challenging as it is so dense, compact and busy. The Skyline cruise allows you to appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of the different boroughs and landmarks as well provide little known information on NYC's history. To top it all off, every employee I encountered from the ticket counter to the crew members on board were extremely professional and friendly. Truly an activity must!!

Waited in a long queue even for the 4pm cruise. The guide was ok but could have been more precise when pointing out places of interest. Sometimes we weren't sure which building he was talking about. We tipped him but many ungrateful tourists didn't bother! This event was probably the least enjoyable of all the places we visited. Will avoid on our next trip to NY.

I low rating is due to weather and not the tour. The day I went the weather was horrible and many of the city's site where obscured. On a day with better weather it would probably be a great!

Really worth its price, it's like a hop-on-hop-off cruise tour, which was not mentioned in the description, but very convenient because you do not have to Uber or spend money on public transportation because you can do all that with this ticket and also get an on-the-go tour.

We were not lucky with the weather... a river cruise in the rain is not a good idea but because we had booked this one in advance, and no refund possible, we had to take it. When it is raining in New York, it's hard to get a taxi. So we walked for about 2 miles to get to the boat I use a cane after a knee surgery. We were wet and everything was damp, so we were glad we could rest in the little shop of the boat company. The windows of the boat were full of drops, so you had to go outside in the rain to catch a glimpse or a picture.

Wasn't aware that we were on a stopping trip. However, views were great and the guide was very good._br/_ Could have done with better instructions about finding the pier. Walked a long way, but there is actually a new Subway station nearby on line 7 and this is not shown on some street maps.

Review by:   Ann Marie M,    October 2016 Review: 1 star rating: I do not recommend this
The employees were extremely unprofessional and some were rude. One of the employees on the boat ride was yelling back and forth to a patron on this tour. The bathroom on the boat should be condemned and not to sound overdramatic but probably had some health code violations when I stepped foot in there. The tour was essentially an over-priced water taxi that did more pick ups and drop off's than showing around. I would not recommend this as a choice and would love a refund to be quite honest. I am very dissatisfied that this was the way my mother who was visiting had to experience NYC.

Loved this! NY is beautiful from the water. It was a nice day and the captain was great in explaining what we were seeing! My only complaint was that people tended to stand up to look at certain things which made it hard for those of us on the other side of the boat to see.
