Awful rude reps. Failed to tell us the meeting point was right at Times Sq and it was Saturday night when all the shows were going in. Why have a meeting point in the busiest place in NY on a Saturday night? We got stuck in traffic despite allowing 45 mins to get there. We were 10 mins late then they wouldn't hold off for our friends in another taxi to arrive. We asked to get in another taxi to meet them at the first location however they were not co-operative and the man was just rude. We contacted the Emergency number they had given us on our paperwork to see where they were and we would make our way to them and they ignored our calls. Seemed just happy to collect 300 from us and not even co-operate or assist us despite it saying on the paper work they would try and help us meet them if we couldnt get to the meeting point. Awful company.

I took this tour while on vacation. Our group was hosted to a fun and exciting time. The clubs we went to had spectacular view on NYC skyline and every picture looked remarkable. _br/_ .We travel in a comfortable van and were greeted to a drink at each stop. _br/_ Our guides developed great rapport with our group and provided the proper ambience for a great time. _br/_ I couldnt recommend a better time in NYC.

Have to say was very disappointed with this tour. Had planned it for my sister and a friend as a surprise for the 40th while visiting new york. Views from all 3 bars were lovely but that's where it ended First rooftop bar had a good atmosphere and our free drink was whatever we wanted but after that it went down hill. We were given vodka with orange and cranberry juice in the next 2 bars but more juice then vodka. The last bar we were told we couldn't sit in side unless we bought a drink which was a bottle of spirits for 350. All bars were free entry so what we paid 360 for im still trying to figure out as it certainly wasn't for drink or entertainment on the night. Wouldn't recommend as you can do all bars yourself without costing you money.

I wish we could give this zero stars it was that terrible. Met at the place and we had to wait there nearly an hour after the specified start time as we had to wait for those who were late. Then there was issues with the coaches - got on one and then had to get off and get onto another before waiting for another 30 minutes in the -20c weather. It was completely disorganised and absolute chaos when we got to the first bar. The person in charge of our group was no where to be seen so couldn't get our included drink - all of the tables and chairs were reserved and couldn't move in or outside the bar. Do NOT book this tour. We left and got a taxi back as it was so awful - as did other people we spoke to who were equally disappointed.

7pm quite early to start. Tour guide was efficient at his job but not very friendly. His English wasn't particularly good or easy to understand. You are not dropped off after final bar you're left at the last bar for as long as you want and then find your own way back home. Not everyone dressed up, dependant on weather I think.

We had a very poor experience due to the unprofessional guides. This was the second time in a year we took the tour. First time it was really great so we came back but not after this... The guides were simply escorting us between the bars with no background info, no mixing with the guests but instead playing with their smartphones. And drinks? Homemade, sloppy mixed by the guides. 2 out of 3 bars were OK. At the last bar Gansevoort we simply left the tour when realizing the bar was at the end of an private? event. No music, hundreds of people were leaving the building, full light, garbage everywhere. This tour was not OK guys...

The first roofdeck was too small for the size of the group. There was a outdoor small roofdeck and a large indoor space. The problem was the entire group remained outside because the environment inside did not feel comfortable. The other two roofdecks Gansevoort and Skyroom were very nice. The description says a cocktail, prosecco or beer of your choice. Our group did not get this, the group leader bought some cheap vodka, orange juice and cranberry juice and made sloppy cocktails for the group. Not very classy.

One way of seeing Manhattan at night by coach which we enjoyed the first roof top bar was out of Manhattan and the views were spectacular that said the drinks were naff and no-one drank them but Tony our guide was very embarrassed and apologised and got them to give us a more appropriate drink but again out of plastic cups not glasses which is a no no really for me and my daughter personally but again the view made up for it and it was the saving grace.

Only one of the bars was actually outside, the liquor was very low quality, and we were constantly yelled out for not staying with the group, and waited at least 15-20 minutes for the bus outside to take us between bars.. It felt more like a field trip than a fun night out. I would not book with this company again.

Do not waste your money on this tour. It was terribly organised. We didn't even meet the host until after the first bar. There were too many people on the tour for it to work. It took ages for everyone to get up to the bar as there were about 100 people going up a few at a time in the lift. There was no explanation of how or where to get the drinks. The first venue was so crowded we couldn't even get to see the views. The drinks were made with no measures

The lounges were spectacular. However, the tour experience was a little disorganized and haphazard for my taste. Plus, there is only one complimentary drink that the tour guide prepares in plastic cups at each lounge. And, they are prepared and passed out at makeshift stations in the middle of the lounge.

The appetizer turned out to be a wrap at the meeting location. It was good but expected something at one of the bars. The first bar, 230, was great, but only wine or beer was offered, no mixed drinks. The second bar was OK, we were seated facing the restrooms. Tony and Tina mixed us some fruity drinks which were pretty weak. The third bar Gansvoort was where we were abandoned by our guides, it was very crowded so we couldn't get near the bar! We left!, so really it was only a 2 bar tour.

Only participated in the first 2 as the 2nd venue we visited it took us about 30mis to get in and we had to check In and pay for coats to be held - spoilt the momentum and if we had been informed we could have left them on the bus. Managed to visit several rooftop bars on our own separately and had no hassle gaining entry. However the 1st bar we visited in Chelsea was excellent.

I was really hoping to write a glowing review but sadly we were very disappointed._br/_ First, Tony our guide was not only difficult to understand, but he wasn't fun, funny, charismatic, or energetic. These are traits I somewhat expect in a tour guide. Second, the drinks at ALL THREE bars were the EXACT SAME :. Vodka, OJ and Cranberry juice. I was really hoping for variety, or at least another option. I can not drink that much OJ/Sugar. I did switch the last two bars to just Vodka/Cran, but would've preferred something else. Third, I'm sure that some of this is unavoidable, but I felt that we spent way too much time on the bus. I didn't track it, but I'm pretty certain that the 2nd ride was almost 40 minutes. Lastly, and most disappointing, the rooftop of the last/best bar was NOT even open :. And the employees wouldn't even let us just go up and look at it. They had us hang out in another bar/lounge at the hotel that was just so-so. Sorry for the poor review, but want to keep it real, and be sure that others that fork-out this much money, know what they might be getting.

We have used Viators for many city experiences and have always been impressed with the standard. However, this new york rooftop lounge experience was awful. I do not know the guides name as he never intoduced himself. We met at a sandwich shop, where we had an 'appetizer'. We then left the shop and was told to follow the guide, unfortunately he didn't tell us which direction to go which resulted in almost half the group getting lost, 15mins later the group was reunited, not a good start. The first bar was ok, but drinks were not ready and the group stood around for 10 minutes whilst he sloppily made the 'cocktails' himself. We were told we would spend an hour here, so we bought another drink. He stood around talking to people he knew. We moved to the next bar, fortunately he didn't lose any of the group although a couple of people did decide not to continue with the group. The next bar was the same, and he spent 10mins making drinks himself, this drink was awful and tasteless. He then spent some time on his phone. He was totally dissengaged from the group. At this point we decided to leave also as we had had enough by this time. We felt we wasted our money on this tour, the drinks were poor and guide useless.

Stays at the clubs were longer than 1 hour, if you just want to see the wiews and drink a cocktail is far too much, most people in our tour were just sitting around and watching the clock and then it was too late for us to go to the last place, because the second place wasn't worthy at all. We think you can do this without a tour, there is plenty of Rooftop around NY.

Disappointed in this. Took us to 3 rooftop bars. You receive a free drink in each if you do not like vodka, then you need to buy your own. It was the exact same free drink in ALL rooftop bars. The last bar you go to they leave you there to make your own way back. After 5mins of being in the last rooftop bar we left as there was no sign of the tour guide or the free drink anywhere and the place was a nightclub rather than a bar. Once out in the street we were very anxious and a bit scared as the area was a bit dodgy and it took us a little while to figure out how to get back to hotel. An ambulance driver drove by rolled down his window and told us to be very careful still quicker walking than getting a taxi!!

This so not worth the effort. The pictures and description lead you to believe that this is an exclusive and special event. We met outside a cafe, there were too many people to get inside this very small location, though we had to go in to get our appetiser, a half chicken wrap and macaroon with a glass of water! The exclusivity had to be none existent as there were 90 people of all nationalities split into 3 coaches, English, Spanish and Portuguese, Others. Now you would have though as it was three lounges that we would each go to a different one, rotating so it would not be overcrowded, but no, all three coaches went at the same time to all the venues. The first PHD, which had reserved tables inside, not on the already full roof terrace, the cocktails were mixed by the tour guides, cranberry juice, orange juice and vodka, which were poured one item at a time into ice filled glasses on one of the tables and handed out, certainly not mixed and very light on the vodka, 4 bottles between the 90 people! So we bought our own 50 for two Mojitos, not cheap, but they were OK. Told time to meet, we were there, the guides turned up 30mins later. Onto the next venue, which had a small outside area with a large indoor nightclub, loud and very busy. No area set aside, so the bouncers shifted people already there off two tables so the guides could again mix the drinks, same ingredients as before, - they laid out 90 plastic ice filled glasses and poured trailed one to the other - first the juices, not stopping so juice was everywhere and again 4 bottles of vodka, we were appalled and upset by this time, the place was heaving, you couldn't speak, the view was none existent as the roof top was about 15 stories high and you couldn't get to the edge anyway. So we cut our losses and ran! This is so disappointing as the tour was bought as a present. I think Viator need to look at the discription, this is in fact a pub crawl, if you want to feel special it may not be for you.

We went on the lounge experience on Friday 27th May and had a blast. All the tour guides were friendly and met such a broad mix of people on the tour. We visited 2 really amazing rooftop lounges and really fun lounge. I highly recommend the experience and will go again when I come back to NYC.
