Not sure how to rate this trip but it was TERRIBLE. I have back problems and booked this to have safe comfortable transportation. Not only was the van too high for me, smelly with torn seats and no room to stretch my legs, the driver couldn't understand English and couldn't care less. Furthermore, we found out it was HUGELY overpriced. Took a local taxi at less than half the price on our next trip from the airport and it was a lovely comfortable sedan with a helpful driver. Will NEVER book transfers with Viator again

It took us a while to get through customs but driver waited. Easily recognisable with board showing our name. He was very informative on journey to hotel thoroughly recommend as journey to Penang is about 40 mins. We got a taxi back to airport as we were too late to book return journey it was 80RGT we gave the driver 100 so pretty good value

We are a family of three from the United States. We visited Penang in November 2013. The transfer was perfect. The drive (Philip) waited for us at the airport with the sign, helped us with the luggage, and safely deposited us to our hotel in a new air conditioned Toyota Camry. On the way he gave us a mini-tour of Penang island. Overall experience is excellent.

Another excellent transfer. Driver was waiting at the airport in uniform so was easy to find. He helped us with the bags and then we set off in a nice airconditioned bus to the hotel.

Just fantastic, met our flight at nearly 1am, quick walk to the car. Very polite, very knowledgeable, was even able to point out my old primary school from 40 years ago. Would I use the service again - yep without doubt. With the current renovations at Penang it's much easier than trying to find the taxi rank.

The driver was very unhelpful, and we had difficulty dragging our suitcases out to where he had parked the vehicle on the side of a busy road. He did not help us with the cases even though we are elderly, and had 2 suitcases each to manage._br/_
The driver had at least 2 conversations on the phone whilst driving and we feel that this is a very dangerous practice and against the law in_br/_
Malaysia._br/_
The van was tatty, smelt strongly of cigarette smoke and had no seat belts._br/_

Great. The driver, John, was there with a name board to meet us. He was most friendly and courteous and virtually acted as tour guide for the trip to our hotel giving us an almost complete history of Penang and it's highlights. Filling us in on which buses to catch during our stay, where to eat and where to shop. Fantastic and thanks again John.

There was nothing wrong with the transfer but it would have been just as easy to get a taxi and almost half the price.
