Im giving this four stars only because I thought there would be sunset, but the ship started well after dark. Living on the East Coast with an early sunset, I mistakenly thought San Diego would be later. Thus, we took a cruise completely in the dark with the pretty lights. In terms of the cruise line, no complaints whatsoever. The food was excellent, as was the service. We each,ordered the short ribs as a main course and it was as good as any place Ive ever had it. A good size portion and very tender. Service was wonderful, DJ was present, and the company around us was good. And this particular night only 28 seats out of a potential 500 were sold. The crew and our treatment was five star.

It was pretty nice but overrated. Food was just OK, boat was old and unless you get a window seat you would miss some of the better sites. Have been on these type of excursions before and I thought it was over priced. Servers were very friendly and did a good job however I would not do it again. I did not believe I got what I paid for.

I definitely feel like I overpaid for what I actually got. The boat was a lot smaller than I was expecting, which was fine because it made for a more intimate setting however having window seating is only great if you can see out of the window. There were these weird zipper-closure windows that weren't the cleanest so it was hard to see through them. The food was pretty good but the main course came out luke-warm which made it just a little less enjoyable. The servers were all polite and wonderful. The reason I am giving this cruise experience only 2 stars is because of how AWFUL the DJ was. A decent part of the reason I chose to do a dinner cruise was for the dancing and I danced to one song all night. For the first half of the ride he played typical slower more romantic music which was okay but when dinner was done and I went to politely request that he pick up the mood a little what he put on was just awful. I like all types of music and like to dance to almost anything upbeat but oh my goodness the variety he played was actually unbearable. My boyfriend and I spent the better half of the night staring at each other instead of having fun. If you're looking for a basic dinner on a boat this is about all you're going to get here.

What a great time we had on our dinner cruise. The boarding process as quick and easy. Our window table was perfect as was our server, Derick, and the bar staff. The dinner was better than expected. Everyone enjoyed their entrees - short ribs, surf and turf, vegetarian lasagna, chicken, it was all delicious. We danced and enjoyed the sites - especially seeing two firework shows - one from the outdoor concert and one from Petco Park. Beautiful evening. Would do it again. Thanks.

Well we got places in the worst possible table. And probably paid the most for our VIP table. In the back of the boat right next to an iversized door that people used to go to the upper deck. Never should be able to use that door if there are gonna be tables The only open table had a half size window. Champagne was not really champagne, food was limited and just average. And they will sell you better food, my 130 per plate wasn't enough Sunset cruise? Umm no, the sunset happened 5 min after we pulled out. The boat never leaves the bay so how are you ever going see a sunset?? Would never do it again.

Overall this was a good experience with great views of the harbour as we cruised around enjoying our delightful dinner. The big disappointment for us were the drinks, specifically the wine selection. The welcome aboard sparkling was sickly sweet almost a dessert wine. That aside the staff were excellent and the music was enjoyable.

Went on about a three hour cruise, the hosts were polite and did their job well. Our cruise did not have many people on it, that made for a nice quiet cruise. The meal they served was very good, they tried to get you to up grade what you ordered, but what they served was just fine in quality and quantity. Probably could have narrated some of the sights, but they don't. Had a DJ and you could dance if so inclined.

The boat was extremely cold. I wore my jacket throughout the entire evening and was still cold. Asked to have the air conditioning turned off and was told that nothing could be done. Food was good as was the service. Music was geared to the 20-30 year old crowd. Basically a disappointment.

Wonderful romantic cruise. Crew was very attentive to every need. There was a mix up at the very start when we were assigned to a inner table rather than a window table which we signed up for via Viator. But issue was quickly remedied. Good Champaign, good mix of music by DJ, and friendly wait staff made this a memorable trip.

We had a lovely time, staff was very accomodating, it was a very nice evening, the food was good, the music fun, and being able to spend time with the captain was the highlight for us. My only suggestion is to ensure high quality champagne. The champagne we received was not the best and would not pay extra for that .

We would have rated this five stars if not for he fact that our window seat was on the lower level at the rear of the ship which shuddered so hard at times that it almost vibrated my cell phone off of the table. Our waiter Shawn was great and the food was good. The champagne was mediocre at best but I expected that.

It was a good experience. The weather, ship and views by the San Diego bay were really good and amazing. The food was good too but could have been a bit better. W enjoyed it and definitely a thing for a special occasion.

Excellent waiting staff and friendly DJ that came by for song requests. Food was well prepared, very accommodating for my husband's shell fish allergy and did substitutions. The advice is to bring extra money because the only drawback was a consistent feeling to upgrade services. For example appetizers were 8-10 extra, photos that were taken before boarding:20, wine: extra, fillet mignon or other entree substitutes: 15 extra. We ended up paying close to 100 extra tips including. But for our 10 yr wedding anniversary it was worth it! The view was spectacular.

Thoroughly enjoyed this romantic evening aboard... We loved the VIP treatment with our own private window and table. The live band, Bayou Brothers was really good also. Would definitely recommend this to any couples looking for a romantic evening, go on a Friday or Saturday evening have some great cocktails, relax and enjoy.

We spent a lot on this tour, but it was WORTH IT!!! This tour was the absolute highlight of our entire trip. The bay cruise was 3 hours, the food and champagne top-rate. Our table was wobbly but the waitor fixed it (with a sugar packet under the leg) Hey- for the tour price, check the tables please! We waited in a line with NO SEATING to board - that was difficult - why aren't there benches????? The scenery during the cruise was magical, my husband and I went up top to sit (by ourselves!!) and watch the sun set. Fantastic!
