We loved this tour because we got to see Alcatraz in the early afternoon, come back and meet up with friends near pier 48 and then go on a twilight tour that evening. I felt like it was a great value and there was enough food on the boat to be considered a meal during the twilight cruise. It was beautiful out on the water. I loved sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge. We did miss the Alcatraz gardens which close at 1 p.m. If we go back we will pick a tour that leaves in the morning so we can view the gardens. I would bring a coat! It was 54 degrees out on the water.

This tour of Alcatraz was absolutely fascinating. We learned so much about what it was like being locked up in Alcatraz. On top of that, the boat trip over and back to Alcatraz was wonderful. I highly recommend this tour and cruise. Just make sure to book early.

This tour was very good. The visit to Alcatraz was very interesting. The audio tour of the cell block was narrated by a former guard and provided a lot of history and anecdotes from other guards and some of the prisoners. It is well worth the time to listen to the audio tour and follow it right through all the different areas of the cell block. Had it not been raining, we would have explored more of the grounds on the island. The twilight cruise was also excellent. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we were not able to sail under the Golden Gate Bridge. The sunset was beautiful and the cruise of San Francisco Bay was both interesting and picturesque and provided different perspectives of Alcatraz as we sailed past. The Bay Bridge was very beautiful at night. The commentary during the cruise was very informative. We would highly recommend this tour. Be sure to book early as the Alcatraz tours are very popular.

The Alcatraz part was awesome. The history etc all good. But then when we did the evening cruise unfortunately it was a heavy fog so we did not get to see the Golden Gate. That was all ok but we did not get told anything while on board all we got was a boat ride up a canal into the docks where all the containers are stored and to Oakland all the while not informing us of anything. Very disappointing. Supper provided was extensive.

Alcatraz was very interesting. Make sure you do the audio guided tour. Cruise was good with a very good buffet, however the weather on our trip was terrible, so could get out to see the sights. Would do again and hopefully weather would be better.

I booked the tour through viator just because I did not get a ticket to Alcatraz with the original Alcatraz Tour provider originaly I did not want a combo tour. But in the end it was quite nice. _br/_ Alcatraz was marvelous - a must do for a trip to San Francisco!_br/_ I really enjoyed the twilight bay cruise as well. The staff was very friendly, I got a drink that is enough for the 2 hours drive, the food was very delicious and much more than enough. A man played a little bit on his guitar._br/_ The price is not cheap but it is very nice. If you are a visitor from far away I recommend it!

Catch two boat trips with one booking! First a boat trip to Alcatraz, then another one at twilight to Golden Gate Bridge and around the Bay. We had postcard weather for this and saw a gorgeous sunset at Golden Gate Bridge. Timings work well.

Alcatraz audio tour was very well done, I had no idea what to expect, but it was great. They staggered people throughout the jail, so not everyone started the audio tour in the same location which prevented massive crowds in the same area. Twilight Bay Cruise exceeded expectations, it was very well organized and not over crowded at all. We were able to see several landmarks in the area, and the musician who played on the ship was fantastic! Not only did he play music, but he also gave commentary about the landmarks - very informative. I was a single traveler and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. I would definitely recommend it!

We had a great time! Alcatraz was very informative and enjoyable. The cruise was beautiful. The food was good and there was plenty of it. The only complaint would be that the cruise wasn’t as warm as would would have like while inside the quarters. Overall, great experience and would recommend it!

The trip across to Alcatraz was smooth and the ferry was comfy enough. Alcatraz was interesting and kept us enthralled for a couple of hours, but wouldn't need to spend much more time there than that.

Perfect night with full moon and not too many on board ensured everyone had a fabulous view. Helpful staff and nice wine and nibbles. And a very talented musician. Boat speed was just right. Thanks to all. A lovely evening seeing San Francisco from a different perspective. If you are visiting SF do take this tour but make sure you bring a warm coat so you can take in the great views from the top deck.

This is an excellent tour that included a fascinating look at Alcatraz. The twilight bay cruise included an excellent buffet dinner, glass of wine, and beautiful views of the Bay. We expected the cruise to be crowded and the food to go quickly. Instead there was plenty of food and the crew was pleasant and helpful.
