Riding a Segway is similar to riding a bike - it's intuitive but nobody is born knowing how to operate it. You'll have 35 - 45 minutes of training prior to beginning the tour so you can get familiar with the most innovative transportation device of the millennium. You will practice on the Segway until everyone feels comfortable and ready to tour San Francisco.

This was great! I booked it for my husband's birthday so he could go with his friend but I went instead. Was petrified at first, but our guide, KATY, was amazing with me. Very patient and kept me right behind her. I was extremely nervous especially since I thought this was going to be along the waterfront, but we rode right out into traffic and rode through the streets! Riding a segway wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be and by the time we finished the tour, I was a little more confident than when I started. Thanks again, KATY!!!!! and Not Your Momma!!!!

We really enjoyed our segway tour with Captain Kyle. He was funny, engaging and full of info about SF history and landmarks. The tour goes through Fishermans Wharf and North Beach, (not the entirety of the waterfront) which was super interesting but not exactly what we expected, but we loved it!

We Absolutely loved being on the Segway!!! It was so fun riding them. Where we went on the tour honestly didn't matter all that much. Matt was fun and I would take a tour with him again. My only issue is with the earphones. The earphones kept crackling or cutting out all together depending on how much Matt moved around. This is an problem as he was giving us directions and could have warnings about safety issues. Great fun though! Wish we had one at home.

Our tour guide The Captain was amazing. He knew so many fascinating stories about the city, I would have been happy paying the ticket price just to hear his dialogue.
