Take easy shuttle service from Whistler Village to a local heliport. Meet your mountain guide and pilot and hop into a helicopter to begin your 4-hour tour with a safety briefing. Before you know it, you’re in the air.
Fly north into untouched wilderness, and marvel at an amazing backdrop of coastal and snowcapped mountains. Soar over Cougar Mountain, slopes of ice and rock, blossoms, and wooded hills of hemlock, fir and cedar. As glacier-fed Green Lake comes into view, your guide explains the reason behind the lake's vivid hue.
Hover over Rainbow Glacier for close-up views of its icy white expanse, and then just on the other side of its peak, touch down by Beverly Lake, a brilliant blue lake.
Disembark at this fantastically remote spot and settle in for your lakeside picnic. Feast both on a delicious lunch (see below for a sample menu) and the stunning panorama of mountain and meadow. Your guide points out the geological highlights.
